Today, we’re happy to share two improvements to Rare Candy’s collecting features that make it easier to manage your collection and share with others.
Tally
When you’re opening up a booster pack full of new cards or hammering out the specifics of a fair trade, it’s helpful to know the combined value of multiple cards at once. Now when you scan cards using the Rare Candy card scanner, you’ll see a running tally of the cards’ value in the top right of your Recent Scans.
To reset the tally, navigate away from the card scanner and reopen it. You’ll see a blank Recent Scans page ready and waiting for you. As always, you can also scan graded cards and Rare Candy will automatically pull in the correct value for your card — and you can rotate through card variations for any card you’ve scanned to make sure you’ve got it just right.
Profile Link Previews
Also starting today, when you share your profile link with others in messages or on the web, you'll now see a redesigned profile preview that showcases your cards and profile header. The preview automatically changes based on the number of cards in your collection and how you’ve arranged them on your profile.
To find your profile link, tap “Share” from your own profile in the Rare Candy app or click on your username at the top right of rarecandy.com.
All of today’s features are available as part of Rare Candy version 2.2.3, available today for iOS in the App Store. To begin, tally is only available in the Rare Candy iOS app. Profile Link Sharing is available for all users.
