Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve begun to expand the trading card games supported on Rare Candy — starting with Lorcana.
Since its launch in 2022, Lorcana has quickly become a worldwide sensation among Disney fans, TCG collectors and serious competitors alike. Now, you can use all of the features you know and love on Rare Candy to grow and manage your Lorcana collection. To get started, just scan any Lorcana card to see its value and add it to your profile. You can also browse every Lorcana set (including promos) and start tracking your collecting progress.
We know that many of you collect multiple TCGs, but we also understand that some collectors prefer a more focused experience. On any profile, including your own, you can simply choose the relevant game to view your collection sorted by that TCG. And you can always custom sort your profile by dragging and dropping cards, ensuring that your favorite items appear first, regardless of the game.
If you don’t want Goofy and Geodude back to back in the same feed, it’s easy to keep things separate. When you share a post of your own, select the corresponding tag—either Lorcana or Pokémon—that matches the cards you’re showcasing. Then, when viewing the feed, you can filter by tag to enjoy a more streamlined experience focused on just one game.
Today’s announcement is just the first step. We’ve got big plans to bring even more of your favorite trading card games to Rare Candy. So whether you're a Lorcana superfan, a Pokémon master, or something else entirely, stay tuned — there's so much more coming your way.
Additional Improvements
Alongside today’s Lorcana launch, we've introduced a few more enhancements to make collecting on Rare Candy even better. Profiles now feature stronger navigation with a new Posts tab where you can view all the posts a user has shared on the Rare Candy feed. (You’ll also find all of your own posts gathered in this tab on your own profile.)
To help you locate specific cards faster within collections, each profile now features a search bar above the collection display, so you can jump directly to any card without the need to scroll. We’ve also introduced new filters that allow you to explore collections by game, language, rarity, type, supertype and subtype.
Lastly, we’ve made it even easier to track down cards from your want list. At the bottom of any card’s detail page, you’ll now find links to online marketplaces with active listings, so filling those final gaps in your master sets is just a click away.
Lorcana support, collection search & filters and card purchase links are all available today for iOS in the App Store and accessible for everyone through our website at rarecandy.com. The Posts tab is currently available only in the Rare Candy app for iOS.
