10. Zacian V - $19.53
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance Trainer Gallery
Card Number: TG21/TG30
Rarity: Trainer Gallery Ultra Rare
A trainer reaches toward Zacian on an old stone path, and the dark green colors make the whole scene feel serious. Zacian was the cover legendary of Sword and Shield, so it's nice to see it get a Trainer Gallery card. It's a quiet one, but it holds its place in the top 10.
9. Jirachi V - $24.79
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 170/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Jirachi smiles right at you in front of a pink and purple starry sky. It's cute and simple, and it's a nice fit for a Pokémon that grants wishes. Jirachi is a Hoenn favorite, and this Alternate Art is a great fit for it.
8. Hisuian Lilligant V - $26.90
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 163/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Lilligant dances in front of a big snowy tree while little Hisuian Pokémon watch from the branches. Its attack is called Dance Gracefully, so the art matches the gameplay perfectly. Hisuian Lilligant was a star of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and collectors still love it.
7. Hisuian Sneasler V - $35.72
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 175/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
OKACHEKE drew Sneasler climbing a tall cliff above a wide green valley, and the view is the best part. It looks like a scene out of the Hisui games. Sneasler became a huge fan-favorite after Legends: Arceus, so it's no surprise this one lands in the top 10.
6. Origin Forme Dialga V - $62.93
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 177/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Dialga rises through a bright sky that goes from blue to orange, with glowing orbs curving around it. It's the first half of the Origin Forme duo on this list, and the Palkia is waiting at #3. Both of them are big deals in the Hisui story.
5. Garchomp V - $71.86
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance Trainer Gallery
Card Number: TG23/TG30
Rarity: Trainer Gallery Ultra Rare
Now we're getting into the real chase cards for Astral Radiance. Cynthia stands tall on Garchomp's back under a sky full of stars. Cynthia and Garchomp have been a fan-favorite duo since Diamond and Pearl, and this card sells for more than several Alternate Arts.
4. Beedrill V - $73.22
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 161/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
A swarm of Beedrill buzzes over a huge field of red and yellow tulips. Its Swarming Sting attack gets stronger with more Beedrill in play, so a whole swarm on the card is a clever touch. It's one of the happiest-looking cards in the set, and Beedrill is a Kanto favorite.
3. Origin Forme Palkia V - $84.40
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 167/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Oswaldo Kato placed Palkia at the top of an impossible checkerboard tower, and it looks like something straight out of an M.C. Escher print. It's the most unusual art in Astral Radiance. Palkia is the space half of the Origin Forme duo, and collectors want both.
2. Starmie V - $113.09
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance Trainer Gallery
Card Number: TG13/TG30
Rarity: Trainer Gallery Ultra Rare
Misty lounges on a pool float with a big, bright Starmie shining behind her. It never fails: a Kanto favorite gets a summer lifestyle card and collectors start chasing it. This is the second most valuable card in Astral Radiance, and it sells for more than every Alternate Art except the Machamp.
1. Machamp V - $191.87
Set: Sword & Shield: Astral Radiance
Card Number: 172/189
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Machamp is the dark horse that took the undisputed top spot in Astral Radiance. It's carrying a tall stack of plates and fruit through a busy market street, and every one of its arms is doing a job. It's a fun, cheerful card, and collectors clearly love a hard-working Machamp.
Final Thoughts
Astral Radiance doesn't have an obvious headliner, so the list is full of surprises, like a Machamp on top and a pool-party Misty at #2. The Origin Forme duo and the Hisuian Pokémon show how much Legends: Arceus shaped the set. To see how the next set compares, read our Lost Origin Top 10, or look back at the Brilliant Stars Top 10.
