10. Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX - $39.24
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 203/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Secret Rare
Oswaldo Kato drew Calyrex riding its white horse Glastrier through a quiet, snowy village. Its Ride of the High King attack matches the art perfectly. The whole card is icy white and blue, so it looks great next to the dark Shadow Rider card at #8.
9. Galarian Zapdos V - $64.66
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 174/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Galarian Zapdos runs straight up a rocky cliff, and it looks like it's about to kick something. In Galar, Zapdos is a Fighting type, and its Thunderous Kick attack fits the pose. This is the first of three Galarian Legendary Birds on the list.
8. Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX - $65.93
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 205/198

7. Galarian Articuno V - $72.86
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 170/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Galarian Articuno floats inside a giant bubble, and the purple and white colors make it look calm and a little dreamy. It's our second Galarian bird. Articuno is a Psychic type in Galar, which is a big change from the Ice type fans know.
6. Galarian Rapidash V - $90.53
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 168/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Galarian Rapidash gallops through a glowing field of blue flowers, with its long horn catching the light. It's soft and bright, and the whole card looks like a dream. Galarian Rapidash is a Psychic and Fairy type, so the pastel colors fit it well.
5. Zeraora V - $94.39
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 166/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Zeraora stands on a snowy ridge with its arms ready, and the bright electric yellow pops against all the white. It's a cool, clean card for a Legendary from Alola. Zeraora has a loyal fan base, and this is one of its best cards.
4. Galarian Slowking V - $115.30
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 179/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Now we're getting into the real chase cards for Chilling Reign. Slowking lounges in a swirl of purple and teal patterns, and the art looks almost like a painting. Galarian Slowking is a Poison and Psychic type, and its Alternate Art is a trippy favorite with collectors.
3. Snorlax - $142.02
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 224/198
Rarity: Gold Secret Rare
Snorlax is fast asleep on a shiny gold card, with sparkles floating around its belly. It's the only gold card in the top 10, and it's a basic Pokémon with no V or VMAX in sight. Its Gormandize ability lets you draw cards, which fits a Pokémon that loves to eat.
2. Galarian Moltres V - $233.69
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 177/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Ultra Rare
Galarian Moltres spreads its dark wings in front of a giant pale moon, with pink flames curling around it. My pick for the best-looking of the three Galarian birds. This is the second most valuable card in Chilling Reign.
1. Blaziken VMAX - $382.23
Set: Sword & Shield: Chilling Reign
Card Number: 201/198
Rarity: Alternate Art Secret Rare
The Blaziken VMAX Alternate Art is the undisputed top pull in Chilling Reign. Blaziken kicks across a bright, wild world with a rainbow sky behind it, and the Max Blaze attack matches the energy. Blaziken is a Hoenn favorite, and this is the biggest chase card of the set.
Final Thoughts
Chilling Reign came by its name honestly, with icy riders, Galarian birds, and a big Blaziken on top. Alternate Arts take nearly every spot on the list.
