10. Loki - $60.95

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-119
Rarity: Secret Rare (Alt Art)
Loki was the first Secret Rare Bandai revealed for this set, and the hype made sense. The cursed prince of Elbaph has been a major staple character in the manga since Luffy found him in chains, and here he's showcasing his namesake with a mischievous smile along with some clean artwork. Gaining +12 cost makes him a low-key (see what I did there?) fit under this set's Luffy Leader, and the English alt art has been quietly climbing because of it.
9. Rocks.D.Xebec - $63.85

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-039
Rarity: Leader (Alt Art)
Our first, but not our last, Rocks D. Xebec on the list. Oda first name-dropped Rocks back in 2019, and after lots of God Valley whispers, Rocks finally makes his way into the card game. The Leader alt art is nothing but his face with a crazed smile pushed right up against the frame.
8. Are You That Afraid of the New Era?!! - $97.01

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-037
Rarity: Rare (Alt Art)
Event cards rarely ever break into the top 10, but this one comes out of one of the most quoted moments of the Wano finale. In chapter 1055, Shanks barely lifts a finger. A little Conqueror's Haki and one question, "are you really that afraid of the new era?", and Admiral Ryokugyu backs off. The alt art is pretty much that manga panel, all red and pink halftone with Shanks glaring out at you, so it's one step away from Manga Rare territory. It searches out Red-Haired Pirates too, and the price jumped a good bit this past week.
7. Kaido - $216.78

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-062
Rarity: Super Rare (Super Alt Art)
This one is my personal chase card of the set. Keisuke Itagaki, the guy who created Baki the Grappler, drew a Kaido card. That's wild to say out loud. It looks exactly like Kaido got dropped into a Baki fight, bulging veins and all, with kanji splattered around the card. The price has dipped a little since release. If you grew up reading both, I don't know how you pass on this one.
6. Charlotte Linlin - $819.65

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-112
Rarity: Super Rare (Manga Alt Art)
Speaking of Emperors, Big Mom's manga alt art is covered in speech bubbles and yes, there's a wedding cake scream in there somewhere. Gameplay-wise, her Your Turn effect turns 4000 power Trigger Characters into 8000s. She's the cheapest of the four Emperor manga cards, but a lot of people are going after all four, so it adds up quick.
5. Kaido - $1,081.63

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-062
Rarity: Super Rare (Manga Alt Art)
Our second Kaido, and now we're getting into the real chase cards for The World's Strongest Warriors. This is the Kaido everybody pictures, club over his shoulder with "Kaido, King of the Beasts!!" yelling from the panels behind him. He's also a 12000 power Blocker that gets you DON!! back whenever DON!! leaves your field, which is kind of ridiculous to have on the board. The price has dipped a bit since launch, but nobody is questioning his spot in the Emperor quartet.
4. Edward.Newgate - $1,117.53

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-005
Rarity: Super Rare (Manga Alt Art)
Nothing on this list spiked harder than Whitebeard's manga alt art, and it happened just after launch. Newgate's towering presence is obviously the highlight of the card. His cost also drops by 4 whenever your opponent has a Character with 10000 power or more. In a format full of Emperors, that's pretty much every game, so players want him too.
3. Shanks - $1,502.19

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-022
Rarity: Super Rare (Manga Alt Art)
Keeping the Emperor train rolling, Shanks leads the manga quartet by a wide margin. What I love is how quiet the art is. He's just standing there in his black cloak with his sword at his hip, totally calm. Shanks has been the mystery man of One Piece since chapter one, and collectors have always paid extra for him. Rush and resting every opposing Character on play is a nice bonus.
2. Monkey.D.Luffy - $1,776.47

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-079
Rarity: Leader (Super Alt Art)
The Super Alt Art Luffy Leader uses an original manga panel of Luffy in a giant helmet, colored over the lone manga panel. It sells for way more than the Rocks Leader alt art. His effect gives Blocker to every Character that costs 12 or more, which is why Loki back at #10 pairs so well with him. The price has come down a good amount since launch. I still wouldn't bet against Luffy.
1. Rocks.D.Xebec - $6,040.01

Set: One Piece Card Game: The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
Card Number: OP17-118
Rarity: Secret Rare (Super Alt Art)
Rocks D. Xebec's Pirate Crew Super Parallel is the undisputed top pull of the set. The art is adapted from the Volume 114 manga cover. Rocks is dead center, and behind him is the entire Rocks Pirates crew, including a young Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido long before any of them were Emperors. Only two cards got this brand new rarity. Playing two Rocks Pirates from your hand on play is the finisher Rocks decks are built around. People have been waiting since 2019 to see this guy on a card, and Bandai did not waste it.

Final Thoughts
The World's Strongest Warriors came by its name honestly. You've got all four Emperors in manga form, a Kaido drawn by the Baki guy, and Rocks finally showing up as more than a flashback. It's one of the deepest chase lists this game has had, and Rocks is already putting up tournament results. With the Elbaph arc still going in the manga, I wouldn't be surprised if Loki is the card everyone's talking about in a few months.
FAQ
What are the best OP-17 chase cards in One Piece The World's Strongest Warriors?
The Rocks D. Xebec Pirate Crew Super Parallel (OP17-118) is the biggest pull in the set right now, and the Super Alt Art Luffy Leader (OP17-079) is second. After that, it's the four Emperor manga alt arts, with Shanks priced highest.
What is a Pirate Crew Super Parallel in the One Piece Card Game?
It's a brand new chase rarity that started with OP-17, and only two cards have it: Rocks D. Xebec and Monkey D. Luffy. Both show the captain with his whole crew behind him in manga-style art.
When did One Piece The World's Strongest Warriors release?
The Japanese version came out August 22, 2026. English prereleases started August 21, and the full English release was August 28, 2026. It's the fourth anniversary set for the One Piece Card Game, so it's built around the Four Emperors and the Rocks Pirates.
Which One Piece OP-17 cards have manga art?
Four Super Rares got manga alt arts, one for each of the Four Emperors: Whitebeard (Edward Newgate), Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom (Charlotte Linlin). Each one puts the character over real manga panels and speech bubbles from their story.
Is the Rocks D. Xebec Leader good in the One Piece Card Game?
Yes, it's one of the most played Leaders in the format right now. Most of the deck's Characters have no Counter at all. Instead, Rocks trashes a card when attacking and reveals the top of your deck, drawing two if it's a Rocks Pirates card.
