Phantasmal Flames is poised to be one of, if not the, most anticipated main sets in years, with the reveal of the Mega Charizard X ex Special Illustration Rare and Mega Hyper Rare. Pair this with the staggering artwork on Oricorio ex from fan-favorite artist Shinji Kanda, and you have a recipe for a heavy chase set.

Final Thoughts
Phantasmal Flames is poised to be the most popular main set in the Mega Evolution era if its Japanese equivalent, Inferno X is any indicator. It's no surprise when you take the evergreen staying power of Mega Charizard X and also throw in an incredible chase card from Shinji Kanda. It's going to be interesting to see the values of the English versions upon release.
